Leaving on a Jet Plane

We are packing up and taking a 2 week vacation. It was originally planned for just a week, but life has been kicking our butts and one week was just not going to be enough to properly get away from the grind. We are first heading to my in-laws in Oregon and giving Chloe some time with her Grandmas. Since we were going to be all the way in the Pacific Northwest we decided to head on over to Hawaii for a week. Adding on a week in Hawaii was my husband’s idea. Gee, I think I will keep him. The vacation falls along our wedding anniversary which is July 7th. We will be celebrating our 11th anniversary. How time flies especially after having a baby.

Cool Site
There is a cool site I found that gives you birthday fun facts. I put in Chloe’s birth date and it gave me this information: Fun Birthday Facts

Zodiac Sign: Aries
Half Birthday: September 23
Birthstone: Aquamarine
Birth Flower: Daffodil or Jonquil
Chinese Zodiac: Year of The Brown Earth Cow
-Your baby will start kindergarten in 2014, be old enough to drive a car in 2025, finish high school in 2027 and will graduate from college with the class of 2031, give or take a year.
To put in your own child’s birth date, the link is HERE.

Happy Birthday America. Hope everyone has a wonderful fun filled holiday. I will always remember the fourth of July my sister, brother, & I set our palm tree on fire with a firecracker. I can’t remember exactly which one of us tossed it. Luckily we were quick to grab the garden hose and put the fire out. I don’t believe there were any adults around, so keep an eye on those kiddies. The excitement of the celebration can certainly take away their better judgment.

When I get back I will share all of our adventures with you. Right now I need to get off the computer and get to packing. See you on the flip side.
